Kiev army fires nearly 50 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds at DPR in two hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 28 – DAN. Ukrainian forces fired some 50 mortar rounds at Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on Thursday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Strikes by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded from 6:50 to 8:50, as 31 120mm mortar rounds and 15 82mm mortar rounds were fired the DPR territory,” the report said.

The JCCC added that during the designated period, fire was delivered at Gorlovka’s Gagarin Colliery settlement, the Staromikhailovka village in western Donetsk and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR. Ukrainian army units fired on Staromikhailovka with large calibre machine guns and small arms.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that three houses and a gas pipe were damaged in Gorlovka by Ukrainian army strikes.*jk
