News Today: Incredible supercut video proves President Trump incessantly lied to voters about business ties to Russia

President Donald Trump insists that he revealed his business dealings in Russia during the 2016 campaign -- but video evidence suggests otherwise.

The president admits he "lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in Russia" after his longtime attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about those real estate dealings, and MSNBC's "Morning Joe" played a supercut of Trump's denials about those business ties.

"I mean, I have nothing to do with Russia, I don't have any jobs in Russia," Trump said July 27, 2016. "I'm all over the world but we're not involved in Russia."

Those comments came the same day Trump seemingly invited Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's emails -- which they tried to do hours later, according to an indictment filed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

"I have nothing to do with Russia, folks, okay?" Trump told supporters Oct. 24, 2016.

But Cohen revealed in court that he continued pursuing a loan and land in Moscow until June 2016, and continued to brief Trump and his children.

The Trump Organization attorney told the court he canceled plans to travel to Russia on the same day the Washington Post first reported the DNC hacks were perpetrated by Russians.
