News Today: Racist Complains His Life Is 'Ruined' After Video of Stalking Black Man and Calling Him 'N*****' Goes Viral

His explanation for the verbal assault is pathetic.

Columbus business owner Jeff Whitman is whining that his life is "ruined" after video of him hurling racial slurs at a stranger went viral.

Whitman followed Charles Lovett for two miles to his home after an apparent driving incident.

Lovett recorded the conversation, in which Whitman can be seen saying,  “I just want to let you know what a n----- you are."

“So I’m a n----- because you can’t read street signs?” Lovett responded.

Whitman shot back that he was a 'n-----' because he's 'entitled.'

“So, thank you for calling me a n----- and showing me how stupid you are,” Lovett said. “Have a good day, sir. Enjoy your life.”

Lovett posted the bigoted exchange on social media, and the reaction was swift and furious.

The Columbus Dispatch reports:

They shared [Whitman's] image online, overloaded his voicemail and flooded consumer websites like Yelp with hundreds of negative reviews, complete with images of the Ku Klux Klan and Hitler.

“I’m out of business, I’m completely out, I’m done, I’ll never work in Columbus again,” Whitman whined of the hateful verbal assault he describes as a "mistake."

Whitman also offered a ridiculous explanation for his bigoted attack. “I was just trying to address the rudeness,” he said.

“This has completely and thoroughly ruined my life," Whitman concluded.

If the remaining Yelp reviews are any indication, the public isn't feeling much sympathy.
